Peter Klein
German Peter Klein has been making pipes since 1988. Peter is clearly influenced by the style of the Danish pipe makers and since 2007 he has been living in Denmark. He primarily uses plateau briar from the southern Italy and after staining he treats all bowls with oil and Carnauba wax. He does all sandblasting himself. The majority of his pipes are fitted with handmade ebonite mouthpieces – often in combination with silver or horn. Peter makes pipes for 9mm filter as well as pipes without filter.
His pipes are graded as follows: D, C, B, A, AA, Orca (from least to most valuable).
